Reasons to be excited for DC animated movie The Son of Batman.

Son of Batman trailer hits the web revealing us alternated comic book adaptation of birth and story of Damian Wayne the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, grows up having a violent and harden personality. In the trailer its a breath of fresh air to see Deathstroke once again as a bad ass hired assassin.And it seems that the League of Assassins going under siege as other assassins prepare to way down Ra's Al Ghul's organization. What I'm really excited for this is movie is to see Damian's character really come to life. I'm really excited to see Bruce Wayne develops trying to be a  father of his child. Damian Wayne is one my favorite Robins next to Red Hood and Night Wing. I would like to see Damian Wayne have a essence of Red Hood's dark personality but still keep a innocence of having a dark sense of humor. What I would really like to see in this movie is the development of drama of Talia and Bruce Wayne of them both fighting a war for the custody of there child. If it is handle very well like it did in the book than prepare to see some baby mama soap opera drama Batman style!



The Son of Batman comes direct to DVD sometime early this year 2014.

What is the news for Vertigo Comics April and May 2014?

1. Sandman issue #3 will be hitting comic book stores on April 30  in the US. Sandman #3 THE OVERTURE will tell the story of Morpheus a man walking through a dream filled with crazed madness.

2. American Vampire: Second Cycle #2 Returns as Pearl Jones is now sucking blood in Hippie era of late 1960s. In this story Pearl Jones most protect her young from the forces of darkness. In this will be on sale for $2.99 and will be released on

April 16. 

4. Astro City #11 fly's into stores on April 11 telling heroic story filled with golden ear of powerful God like superhero in capes and classical mystic and demonic villains that prey on the innocent.  

5. Coffin Hill #7 will haunt you in comic book stores in April 9 Coffin Hill is story about a a young girl name Ellie Coffin that is haunted by spirits that will judge her fate. 

6.Fairest  #25  will finish a magically and deadly conclusion of the reveal of the of mice and men. 

Fairest will appear on comic book stores everywhere May 28.

7. Fables #140 will hint a reveal of a conclusion of the "The Boys in the Band" in April 16.

8. FBP (Federal Bureau of Physics) #9 continues after a heartwarming is sadly ruin Rosa and Adam wonder why Nakeet is one of messed up place.

9. The Dead Boy Detectives comes back from dead in issue # 5 on April 23 in this story Edwin will investigate a secret that will tun his life sideways.

SUPERMAN VS BATMAN MOVIE DELAYED FOR 2016!?!?!?!?

Sad news has hit that the web that Superman vs Batman has been delayed up to May 6th 2016. Rumors has speculated that Ben Affleck is injured causing the movie to be a step back instead of a step forward. This means that Superman vs Batman will be against X-Men Apocalypse movie which is also a  major heavy hitter for FOX in 2016. Because of this delay dose this mean that this movie is being rushed because of a major demand of a justice league movie, is it because there is a flaw with the scrip or is it because of Ben Affeck "physical" situation? Whatever the hold up might be I would like to read your thoughts and concerns as of why  this most anticipated Superhero film is being delayed.

 

Your thoughts as Denzel Washington as John Stewart Green Lantern

What is your thoughts as Denzel as Green Lantern? Three years ago Ryan Reynolds played the Green Lantern Hal Jordan but because of unsuccessful reception the film had, WB and DC Comics decided to do a fresh new start by casting new actors and other Green Lantern related stories for DC's new cinematic universe. If Denzel Washington is "green lighted" to be play Green Lantern it will be interesting for me and also for the rest of audience to see him portray as a superhero. We always see him play as the badass cop, agent or gangster. I think it will be even more interesting to see him play a badass superhero. So please tell me what is your thoughts as Denzel Washington as John Stewart.

1. Frank Millar's upcoming Big Dame Sin City will come out to retail on June 25th for $59.99 and many online shopping sites on July 8th 2014. Big Dame Sin City will be collected all seven issues such as The Hard Goodbye, A Dame To Kill For, The Big Fat Kill, The Yellow Bastard, Family Values, Booze Board and Bullets and Hell and Back. For any Sin City fan or newbie Big Dame Sin City hardcover will be a good starter until the sequel to Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For  will hit theaters August 22.

2. DMZ's Hardcover Deluxe Edition Book One will round up twelve issues of Brain Wood's Second Civil War dystopia for $29.99. Its a story about Matty Roth who is a photographer/journalist stuck middle of a  civil war in New York City who has to rely on friends and sometimes even psychopaths just to survive.
